Hi yesterday my class went to our garden and planted a kawakawa tree.Kawakawa trees could be chewed or you could make a cup of tea with it, it tastes very bitter. Kawakawa trees are good for a toothache,stomach problems the leaves are used to heal cuts,burns,bruises and stings the leaves and the bark are boiled in water and the infusion is used for skin problems like eczema.The leaves are often covered with little holes caused by the "kawakawa looper moth caterpillar".

My poem

Hi My class was learning to do poem's there are different types of poems like Acrostic poem,sences poem,haiku poem,Narrative poem and more. I did the haiku poem,sences poem and acrostic poem. What I learnt was how to do an acrostic poem and haiku poem and my sences poem for an acrostic poem you have to pick an emotion and write your emotion you have to write it down and then make a sentence. For an haiku poem it's kind of like an acrostic poem. A haiku poem has three line's on the first line is 5 sylibols 2 line is 7 and then 5 again. for your sences poem is you also pick an emotion your 5 sences are sight, touch, taste, smell, hear. I enjoyed actually writing a haiku poem.What I found hard was my sences poem it was hard because I didn't know my 5 sences until My teacher told me my 5 sences. volcanoes

 Hi, I am posting this because my class was learning about the white island volcanoe and magma chamber's that are underneath the white island volcanoe. New Zealand's volcanoes only erupt once after years grass will grow on it. what I liked about it was that I could learn more about volcanoes and how they erupt.

This is a photo of my art Today me and my class room 15 had to draw a picture of what Matariki meant to us we had a choice to colour with crayon, colouring pencils and painting I picked painting. What I liked was that I got to paint and draw but what I didn't like was that it was hard to draw the hair. The star that I drew was Hiwa-I-Te-Rangi I had to mix heaps of paint to make a hair colour and a skin colour
